08/07/2020	Text message purporting to be from Nationwide stating that "I have added a new payee MR A HUSAIN to my account" and inviting a visit to nationwide.uk.recipient -cancel.com. This is an clear and obvious scam attempt; Nationwide do not send out text messages asking for new payee confirmation, they do it by other means (which for obvious reasons I am not divulging), The Nationwide website does not end ".com" . The wording of the text is a copy of the format used by Nat West. DO NOT respond to the text, or attempt to visit the website. SMS Negative
08/07/2020	PLEASE DO NOT INPUT YOUR DETAILS IT IS A DEFINITE SCAM. I received this text on my mobile phone saying "NationwideUK: New payee MR A HUSAIN added to your account through your mobile banking. If this was NOT you, please visit: nationwide.uk.recipient-cancel.com." When I went online on my PC to check this website it asked for my username and date of birth, but would not allow me to click on any of the Nationwide help screens, etc. SMS Negative
