17/10/2020	Called today said from Domestic and General as washing machine cover expired. Asked when and She thinks it's Monday. Asked what model and she thinks it's Zanussi. Hard luck for them renewed my cover last month WRONG DATE AND MODEL. Told her I knew this was a scam and not to call back. Domestic and General do not phone customers on expiry so beware. 17/10/2020	Man phoned saying my washing machines insurance had expired & offered a 1 year cover reduced to £89 or 3 years cover that included 1 year free, he kept talking fast but eventually I managed to ask how could they offer full cover ( including a replacement machine should mine be irreparable!) as my machine was 8 years old, his reply was that they guarantee electrical equipment up to 15 years old. As I found this was a scam call I hung up. Scam call Nuisance

17/10/2020	Lady with foreign accent called - said she was from Homecare and said I had insurance cover for my fridge freezer and washing machine with them Didn’t want to accept I have no such insurance with them. In the end she said it must be a mistake but knew my name and address which is worrying. Scam call Negative
17/10/2020	Gentleman with a strong Asian accent says he is calling from the Hotpoint Group in Brighton and wants to know why I don't have insurance for my washing machine. It sounded like the start of a scam so I hung up. At best it is unsolicited cold calling. Scam call Negative
